Nintendo Announces New Pokemon Games For Switch

Ending weeks of speculation, Nintendo has announced Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee for Switch, on sale November 16th.

On the surface, these look like remakes of Pokemon Yellow, with added multiplayer support and integration with Pokemon Go.

All Pokemon in the game with be from the Kanto region, and import/export to Pokemon Go will be limited to that region as well.

As part of the launch, a new Pokeball controller will be available, featuring a ‘squeeze’ button, an illuminated joystick/click button, and bluetooth integration to allow use of the controller as Pokemon Go Plus device.

The controller will also allow you to load a Buddy Pokemon, and interact with it on the go.

Pricing for the controller in the United States hasn’t been announced, but based on the listed Japanese price, you can expect it for around $50.

We’ll add more information as we get it.
